The entire Excess team would like to congratulate our skippers and crews for their performances during the ARC 2023!
A total of 8 Excess catamarans took part in the race, making Excess the second most-represented catamaran!
This year, the tribe was represented by Sweden, Japan, the United States, England and the Netherlands. More than 3000 nautical miles were sailed in winds which were mostly calm. The crews were able to enjoy the fairly calm weather to cook, fish and enjoy their time on board.
Here are the final results for the multihull category:
6th: White Lotus, Excess 15 - Sweden
7th: Faros, Excess 15 - Sweden
10th: Tranquility, Excess 15 - Sweden
20th: Horizon Discovery , Excess 15 – Japan
26th: Serene, Excess 14 - Great Britain
30th: Vida Loca, Excess 15 – USA
The Excess 11s, Moana and Lady Ellen, also performed well in the ARC+ category.
